Meet The Face Behind Floodgate Coaching, Counselling and Consulting

I’m Becky Hills, the proud owner of Floodgate Coaching, Counselling and Consulting. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I grew up in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, and after earning my Master of Theological Studies from Tyndale Seminary in 2004, I worked as a counsellor and clinical supervisor in various settings across the country.

Over the past twenty years, I have worked in mental health and addictions. I am passionate about helping people be the best versions of themselves. In 2019, I started Floodgate Coaching, Counselling and Consulting, which has already helped many people overcome life’s challenges and begin living life more fully.

My mission is to help you build a strong foundation of resilience, knowledge of self, and confidence. I endeavour to break down barriers and help you live life with meaning and purpose so the fullness of your potential can start to flow.

As an individual, I believe my commitment, compassion, and cooperation set me apart from others.

I attribute my success to my dedication to effectively listening. This helps me collaborate with you to solve problems and set goals.

The moment my clients find the “floodgates” flung open and the barriers they were facing have disappeared, I feel immense satisfaction.

I have a few different hobbies and interests when I am not at work. If it is summertime, I’m mostly out enjoying my garden. There is nothing more therapeutic for me than being covered in dirt and bringing life and beauty into the world. The rest of the year, my time is focused mainly on cultivating relationships and spending time with friends and family.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
